Air Quality, we care about the air you breathe
We breathe more than 15,000 liters of air every day. The quality of the air in our environment influences the quality of our lives.
If we are not careful, the level of pollution inside a home can exceed the level outside, because the pollution coming in through the windows is added to the pollution generated inside the home itself.
Internal combustion sources, dampness and water leaks, so-called Volatile Organic Compounds, VOCs, hydrocarbons and microbial agents, which poor ventilation and inability to remove daily exposes us to asthma, allergies and respiratory problems.
We care about the air you breathe and ensure the best indoor air quality in all enclosed spaces, keeping energy costs under control.
How do we do this? Through an appropriate selection of paints and sealants, flooring, insulation and wood finishes with low VOCs (benzene, formaldehyde, plasticisers and retardants) and photocatalytically treated surfaces.
Photocatalytic paint in the presence of light (artificial and natural), oxygen and titanium dioxide, cleans and disinfects the air we breathe, eliminating oxidation, bacteria, fungi and pollution near the painted surface.
An adequate selection of materials and designs that allow for cross ventilation, the time necessary for walls and ceilings not to change their temperature, reducing energy loss, allow us to guarantee the quality of indoor air.
In areas where outdoor air quality is not optimal, we have opted for controlled ventilation, using filters and devices installed in windows and recuperators, to ensure adequate air renewal and avoid energy loss.
We have also tested ActivePure®, an air purifier that neutralises more than 99.9% of indoor pollutants, working 24 hours a day, eliminating mites, mould and other particles, in homes with people with respiratory and asthma problems, or smokers where children live.
